During a road trip along Spain’s dramatic El Camino del Norte, we encountered a galerna—a heavy wind and rain storm typical of the Cantabrian Sea. We drove West to East for several days, getting caught by sudden downpours. This caused damage to some of the already-exposed film. Other effects were deliberate, as a few of the rolls had been soaked in the Atlantic Ocean before departure.
